YCA’s 61st Annual Gala will be held on Monday, May 2, 2022 at Zankel Hall at Carnegie Hall. We invite you to join us for the YCA 61st Annual Gala Benefit as we honor Joan and Irwin Jacobs.
The evening begins with a festive chamber music celebration at Carnegie Hall’s Zankel Hall, with world premieres by saxophonist Steven Banks, and YCA composer Katherine Balch, including the Borromeo String Quartet, violist Hsin-Yun Huang, mezzo-soprano Megan Moore, pianists Albert Cano Smit and Zhu Wang, bass-baritone William Socolof, and flutist Anthony Trionfo.
As always, the proceeds from this Gala will support YCA’s many activities — from the YCA International Auditions to our New York and Washington concert series of debuts and “encores,” as well as the invaluable management of our artists. Thank you, we look forward to honoring Joan and Irwin Jacobs and celebrating Young Concert Artists with you!
